funny how we are such a sign driven society. See a red light or stop sign in the middle of nowhere and not a soul in sight, we still stop because the “sign” says so. Or how we are driven by what the clock says. At a certain time we get up, go to work or school, and go back home.

Yes! I can do it too.
I’m never really a fan of colored nails, so I always go for this clear/shiny look. My new favorite tone: Pinky Promise. I think it’s like $2 from CVS. :)

Ever since I discovered the Internet I have forgotten everything I did before the discovery. How did I pass time by? It seems unfathomable that there was even a time that people did something else besides stalking on Facebook and reblogging on tumblr. But indeed there was. I haven’t had Internet in the home for about a month now and if my time isn’t so consumed by my baby and my iPhone did not have 3G, I would be paying my savings away for gas and a new closet because there is no way I would be able to stay home and the easiest thing to do when you’re alone is eat, get fat, and go buy new clothes. I don’t like to think it’s my fault for being so revoltingly dependent on the Internet because it’s really not. Before the Internet took over my and everyone else’s life, people look to each other for entertainment. Now almost everyone has Internet and is glued to that machine. Being the only person without Internet is the black sheep, the ugly duckling. I have no one to turn to because they all have Internet to keep themselves busy. I also blame gas prices for skyrocketing while wages steadily declines as well as my friends for being idiots and not knowing how to save. Just kidding. You guys aren’t idiots…you just don’t save, which if you haven’t already, please stop being stupid and start.

My dad just interrupted me and I have forgotten what I was going to say. But that basically sums up why I feel like there’s always nothing to do besides Internet….it’s cheap and always available. More so now than ever since I don’t work anymore, which means no money, and I have a baby, no more me time, I feel even more pathetic because I can’t even go eat, get fat and shop. All I can do is stay home and get fat instead which is way worse because I can’t go shop and get dressed up. Now I sound like a brat.

Well this ends my post. Thanks iPhone an 3G for allowing me to still stalk people on Facebook and rant about it on tumblr!

I decided to try that bold, red lips look while I was at home today with my baby. It didn’t work out so well…I think I’m a bit too pale to be able to pull it off. Pinkish/nude fits my look better.

It’s better to be alone than to be miserable with company.
